About the event

Garbh Sanskar is an ancient Indian practice rooted in Ayurvedic traditions, focusing on the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of a pregnant woman and her developing baby. It encompasses a holistic approach to prenatal care that includes lifestyle, diet, music, and Physical and spiritual activities aimed at nurturing both the mother and the unborn child.

Prenatal Yoga is one part of Garbh Sanskar that incorporates gentle stretching, strengthening, and breathing exercises that are safe and beneficial during pregnancy. The practice is aimed at preparing the body for childbirth, alleviating common pregnancy discomforts, and promoting the overall well-being of the mother and baby.

The classes will include :

 Modified yoga poses and sequences designed specifically for the pregnant body, focusing on alleviating shoulder hunching, lower back pain, and stiff hip and glute muscles. The yoga routine will be customized according to the current month and trimester of pregnancy.

This is a 2 day workshop pass:

Day 1- Sunday, June 2nd- 11.00 AM to 12.30 PM (Spouses are welcome to join)

Day 2- Tuesday- June 4th- 1030 AM to 12.00 Noon (Expectant mothers only)

Who is it for:

1. Anyone in their second or third trimester who has been cleared by a medical practitioner to follow a fitness regimen.

Who should avoid:

1. Someone who is not pregnant.

2. Someone who is pregnant in their first trimester.

3. Someone who is pregnant and adviced bed rest.

Refund Policy

1. Ticket once sold will not be refunded under any circumstances.

What To Bring?

1. Please carry your personal mat. A few mats are available at the Studio on a first come first serve basis.

2. Wear any comfortable clothing that will help in free movement of the body. Avoid tight fitting clothes that may impact breathing.

Safety Note

Participants are advised to ensure that they don't have any physical discomfort or ongoing medical issues before signing up for the workshop. The Studio and Instructor will ensure that all safety protocols are followed during the practice. The Studio is not responsibe for recurrence or aggravation of any. prior medical conditions due to the practice.

Please arrive 10 minutes early, as the session will strictly commence on time. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend planning your travel to the venue and checking in at least 15 minutes before the event starts.
